Lynne is a caring and approachable practitioner who is dedicated to enhancing life with counselling services to her clients of all ages and situations. Coming from a multi-cultural background and speaking fluent Mandarin and Taiwanese enhances her ability to assist those who can benefit from her multi-language skills and cultural understanding. She has successfully overcome many personal challenges and this helps her relate to a wide range of circumstances.

Lynne is a licensed psychologist in Queensland with over 19 years of counselling experience in the U.S.A. and Australia. In addition to perfect English, she speaks fluent Mandarin and Taiwanese (A.K.A. Hokkienese). She has a wide range of professional work experience in multi-disciplinary teams in various cross-cultural settings including Hawaii & Colorado, U.S.A. and Gold Coast, Australia. Over the years, she has worked in various youth and adult in-patient and out-patient programs at the hospital, Community Mental Health, Correctional and local Medical Centres. Since settling on the Gold Coast in 1996, Lynne has worked in private practice helping the local Gold Coast community including multi-cultural communities, Asian migrants and international students. Psychological treatment modalities Lynne has used include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Family-Based Systemic approach, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Positive Psychology and psycho-education on Self Esteem / Confidence Building, Assertiveness Skill training, Conflict –Resolution, Communication, Problem-Solving, Emotion Management Skill training, Realistic Goal-Setting and Achievement.
